If Reading Feels Like a Daily Struggle . . .
You're NOT Alone
-
Your child reads but doesn’t understand
-
They guess words instead of decoding
-
Homework turns into frustration
-
Confidence is dropping
The issue isn't effort. It's the approach.
This Is a Reading Program NOT Tutoring
At Academic Instinct, we do not offer tutoring sessions.
We deliver a structured, progressional reading and writing program designed to build skills from the foundation up.
Tutoring often focuses on helping students get through assignments or reviewing what was taught in school.
But students who struggle with reading don’t need more review, they need direct, systematic instruction that targets their gaps and builds real mastery.
Tutoring is
-
Session-based support
-
Homework help
-
Review of school material
The RISE Program is
-
Structured literacy system
-
Skill-based progression
-
Targeted instruction + measurable growth
-
Built to close gaps, not just manage them
This is why RISE is not designed as drop-in support, it is a program built for real, lasting progress.

How The RISE Program Is Delivered
Led by Expert Educators
Every group is led by a certified teacher or reading specialist trained in structured literacy instruction. Our educators understand how to support students with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, IEPs, and 504 plans.
Small Groups, Focused Instruction
Students are placed in small groups of 2–5 based on skill level, not just grade. They attend two live sessions per week, where instruction is interactive, targeted, and paced for real progress.
Ongoing Assessment and Growth Tracking
Each student follows a structured learning path with clearly defined skill targets. Progress is monitored through ongoing assessments, so families always know what their child is working on and how they are improving.
Every part of the program is intentionally designed to build skill, not just complete sessions.
